The Birth of My Blog

In June 2010 I "launched" my baby blog.  I started "studying", "creating" and "working" on the concept of what I wanted. I knew that a blog took commitment, some time, good content, and consistency.  I know that still even it just for fun.

Life and Business Happens

Things started getting crazy right around my 25^th birthday.  Regular life had its way with me too.  And sadly, with great shame and sadness, without intent, I abandoned my blog.

Just Do It!

Dani’s slogan didn’t enjoy such success without reason.  Blogging reminds me of my workout regime.  Just shut up and do it.

Ironically, I love it when I’m blogging consistently.  I love the satisfaction of having done it.  And I love the results – just like working out.  But fail to go to the gym, or blog, the results eventually go away.  I’ve lived both.

Sadly, I’ve noticed that if I quit working out for just one month – I may go three.  I think that’s what happened to my blog.  A few too many days went by and I just disconnected from my routine.  Getting back to the gym that first day is always the biggest hurdle and then I remember what I loved about it.

Don't Let Jealousy Come Between You

 I'll certainly be quite happy for my bestie as she enters this new stage of her life and plans for her future. Getting engaged is an exciting time and my bestie will need my support as she prepares for the wedding. It's a big moment in her life. Now my bestie has decided to marry. Hopefully this will come naturally.

My program friend, An got engaged in January and so did several of my friends including one of my close friends who is also getting married. Everyone is also getting married and engaged before me. I'm happy for everyone but it seems like my thunder was taken away.

An engagement is a promise to marry, and also the period of time between proposal and marriage.Future brides and grooms are often referred to as fiancées or fiancés respectively.

I found myself getting a little jealous. Weird huh? I'm not really jealous laa. I do feel happy for her/him/them. But yes, there is a little part of me that is jealous. I think a lot of us feel like that but I don't think it's ok to admit it.

True Love

It is so hard for me to express my feeling. Am I too demanding or is he giving me too little. All I ever want is only love and care from him. Since small, to me Love is an important thing. Maybe one of the reasons is that my late Baba is not here anymore to take care of me. I used to watch fairy tales when I was a little girl and watch love movies when I grew older, and I even read love stories. You can see, love is a big part in my life. I don’t think I can live without it, really. Perhaps all these years of love stories and fairy tales turn me into who I am today.

I want my guy to make me feel happy, make me feel special, make me the one he loves most and make me feel the romance in the relationship. I thought, maybe I’m too naive. I stick to him. It’s been 11 months and all this while I wish demand for surprises.

I sound so damn cheap to demand for surprises. I don’t think I need it anymore. I know I might sound clingy and demanding to some of you, but which girl who doesn’t want true love from their partner?
